1/2 cup hard margarine or butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1 (large) egg yolk
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 cups flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 cup ground almonds
2 Tbsp white sugar
1 (large) egg white
1/4 cup (approx) apricot jam
Cream margarine and first amount of sugar together. Add yolk. Beat well. Add vanilla. Add flour and salt.
